His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Hassan Al-Boug

His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Hassan Al-Boug leads the Board of Directors of the Insurance Authority, a role he has held since the Authority's founding in November 2023, when it became an independent regulatory body responsible for overseeing the insurance sector in the Kingdom. Through this role, His Excellency drives the sector's development efforts by implementing the National Insurance Strategy, enhancing the sector's growth, competitiveness, and contribution to the national economy.
He currently serves as Governor of the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), following his appointment by Royal Decree in April 2023, and is also a member of its Board of Directors.
His Excellency brings over 26 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, during which he held several leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Tawuniya Insurance Company, one of the Kingdom's leading insurance providers, where he contributed to advancing its strategic operations and strengthening its financial growth in the market.
