Mr. Youssef Al Blihid has been a Board Member of the Insurance Authority since 2024. He holds a master's degree in Law from Wake Forest University in the United States, as well as a higher diploma in Legal Studies (Professional Master’s Degree) ) from the Institute of Public Administration in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, he earned a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies (Jurisprudence) from King Saud University in Riyadh. He has served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Capital Market Authority since 2017, and brings over 22 years of extensive experience in various key positions, distinguished by his effective leadership skills, he has made significant contributions to numerous successful initiatives and projects, both locally and globally. Mr. Al-Blihid has led several important local and international initiatives and represented the Kingdom in various local, regional, and international organizations. In addition to his current roles, Mr. Al-Blihid chairs several committees, including the Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee at the Insurance Authority and the Human Resources Committee at the Capital Market Authority.
