The Insurance Authority announces the
launch of the “Voice of the Sector” Program, a key initiative within its
Innovation Ecosystem, empowering experts, practitioners, insurance companies,
brokers, and beneficiaries to share their perspectives on sector developments
and put forward innovative ideas and solutions that advance the Kingdom’s
insurance sector and support the objectives of the National Insurance Sector
Strategy.
Through ongoing submissions, the program
aims to identify the needs of beneficiaries and stakeholders, uncover
opportunities for improvement based on practical experience, and strengthen
stakeholder participation in developing the insurance sector, enabling
promising ideas to be translated into actionable solutions.
Submissions undergo several stages,
beginning with analysis, evaluation, and classification according to their
nature, significance, and potential impact. Suitable ideas are then directed to
other programs within the Innovation Ecosystem for further development.
Technology-based ideas may be referred to the hackathon, entrepreneurial
concepts to the incubator or accelerator, and complex regulatory challenges to
the Solutions Studio. Participants are kept informed of their ideas’ progress
and resulting outcomes.
The program targets employees and leaders
of insurance companies, FinTech and InsurTech experts, academics and researchers in
actuarial science and law, insurance professional service providers, and
individuals interested in enhancing the insurance experience.
