The Insurance Authority announces its hosting in the Money 20/20 International Conference, to be held in Riyadh from September 15–17, 2025. This event is the regional edition of the renowned Money 20/20 series, one of the world’s largest gatherings in the Fintech sector. The conference aims to create a platform that brings together organizations, banks, payment companies, investors, fintech, and Insurtech firms to exchange ideas, conclude deals, and shape the future of the digital financial sector.
Eng. Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi, CEO of the Insurance Authority, stated that this participation aims to showcase the digital transformation led by the Authority in the insurance sector, highlighting the digital initiatives adopted to develop the industry, support broader economic cooperation, introduce joint investment opportunities in the insurance sector, and facilitate investment by streamlining procedures and accelerating business processes. The Authority’s participation in the conference will include the launch of several innovative digital initiatives and the signing of multiple agreements to strengthen and build partnerships both locally and internationally, as well as to exchange expertise and knowledge in the insurance industry.
He emphasized that the Kingdom’s insurance sector enjoys the full attention of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ government, as it represents one of the promising pillars for economic and developmental diversification. The sector is currently witnessing a range of pioneering initiatives and major developments aimed at driving significant growth, expanding its economic and developmental contributions, and achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
He further shed light on the Kingdom’s commitment to reaffirming its leadership and global standing across various sectors, including insurance, while underscoring its readiness to expand cooperation through exploring investment opportunities and sharing knowledge and expertise. The conference will spotlight innovation in financial and insurance technology, the use of artificial intelligence, and the introduction of emerging technologies, as well as how insurance companies can harness them to drive transformative change in the industry and reshape it, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity.
