The Insurance Authority has announced the organization of the ingate Global Insurance Conference and Exhibition under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Financial Sector Development Program, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Jadaan. The event will be held in Riyadh from November 10 to 12 and marks the first specialized event in the history of the insurance market in Saudi Arabia and the region, focusing on the insurance industry and exploring its prospects.
His Excellency Eng. Naji Al Faisal Al Tamimi, CEO of the Insurance Authority, expressed optimism that the conference will achieve the ambitious objectives set by the Authority. The event aims to align the insurance sector with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and national priorities, support cooperation and partnerships among stakeholders from government, private sector, and international players, identify gaps in local and global insurance markets, and develop plans to transform these gaps into opportunities. Additionally, the conference seeks to raise public awareness about insurance and its benefits, contributing to an increase in the insurance penetration rate, which stands at 2.59% of the non-oil GDP according to 2024 market results. The event will also support sustainable growth plans by promoting innovation, financial sustainability, and the expansion of insurance programs, particularly protection and savings insurance, which currently represents only about 10% of the Saudi insurance market.
In this context, the Authority has launched an online platform, “ingate,” to enable interested parties to register their participation in the conference and exhibition via the following link: https://www.ingate-global.com.
Notably, the conference will feature a range of activities aimed at shaping the future of insurance, including over 40 panel discussions, workshops, and sessions with participation from 100 speakers and more than 150 local and international organizations. The event will also include an exhibition spanning 15,000 sqm, expected to attract over 7,000 visitors over three days.
