Insurance Authority Organizes Fourth Edition of “Insurance Diwaniya” with Participation of Sector Leaders and Representatives

​The Insurance Authority organized the fourth edition of the “Insurance Diwaniya" from May 13 to 14, 2026, attended by the Authority's CEO and leadership, along with CEOs and senior representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies. The event forms part of the Authority's efforts to strengthen engagement with the sector and discuss priority regulatory, technical, and operational topics.

Over two days, the Diwaniya covered topics related to the development of the insurance sector in the Kingdom, including legislation and regulation, health insurance, general insurance and reinsurance, protection and savings insurance, insurance products, human capital, governance, technical and regulatory committees, and several sector development initiatives and projects.

The meetings addressed key challenges and opportunities related to developing the regulatory and operational environment, enhancing readiness and efficiency, and promoting the exchange of expertise and perspectives between the Authority and insurance companies. These efforts support the growth and sustainability of the insurance sector and improve the quality of insurance services and practices.

The CEO of the Insurance Authority, Eng. Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi, affirmed that “Insurance Diwaniya" serves as a professional platform for direct dialogue between the Authority and sector companies, enabling discussions on challenges, opportunities, and ways to enhance insurance practices and sector efficiency. He added that the Authority continues to support professional initiatives and forums that strengthen integration with the sector and promote knowledge exchange, in line with the goals of the National Insurance Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

For his part, the Official Spokesperson of the Insurance Authority, Mr. Sultan Al-Qahtani, stated that organizing the Diwaniya is an extension of the Authority's efforts to enhance communication with sector leaders and specialists, and to discuss priority regulatory and technical topics. This supports the development of the insurance environment and raises the efficiency and readiness levels among various stakeholders. He added that the Diwaniya contributes to strengthening partnerships and the exchange of insights and expertise, while supporting efforts to develop insurance services and practices and enhance the sector's competitiveness and sustainable growth.​
