The Insurance Authority recently held the Insurance
Stakeholders Meeting, attended by His Excellency Eng. Naji Al-Faisal Al-Tamimi,
Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, along with the CEOs of insurance and
reinsurance companies, and several senior leaders from the Authority and the
sector. The event is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to develop the
insurance sector and strengthen collaboration across all stakeholders, in line
with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue
between the Authority and the private sector. Discussions covered the latest
market developments, strategies for sector advancement, key challenges, and
opportunities, as well as a review of the Authority’s regulatory initiatives
designed to support the sector’s growth and stability.
In his remarks, the CEO of the Insurance Authority reaffirmed
the Authority’s commitment to driving further growth and progress in
partnership with the private sector. He also emphasized the importance of
enhancing market efficiency and promoting the highest standards of
transparency. He highlighted the value of continuous engagement and listening
to proposals from all stakeholders to ensure effective and well-informed
regulatory decision-making.
This event is part of a broader series of initiatives led by
the Insurance Authority to strengthen the insurance sector in Saudi Arabia,
enhancing its competitiveness and reliability. These efforts reflect the
Authority’s mandate to develop, regulate, supervise, and oversee the sector to
support its performance and growth while contributing to financial stability.
